Old St. Andrews (pictured above), the ancestral home of golf is located on the East coast of the country and in addition the country boasts some of the world's most challenging and well known golf courses such as Muirfield, Royal Troon, Turnberry, Carnoustie, Gleneagles and Loch Lomond. All these courses feature as sites for the British Open Championship, or are on the European Tour Circuit. Tours can be designed to experience some of these famous courses, or to play on some of the more obscure and unique smaller courses which the country also boasts, such as Traigh, Gairloch or Fort William. I can book tee-off times, caddies, and golf bag trolleys.
Old St. Andrews course operates a ballot system, so it is not always readily available.
